Photo Taking Tips

Your photos do not need to be shot with a professional camera. Any digital camera these days will work just fine. Make sure your camera settings are set to the highest resolution for the best quality. The higher mega pixels you have will allow more options for enlargements and cropping.

Here are a few tips when taking photos of different ages.

Babies & Small Children:

Lighting: Natural light from window or outdoors
Costume: Have arms free of clothing so wings can be added neatly. Dress up in a cute tutu or sparkly skirt. Use lots of colour!
Position: Upright or on tummy are best so wings can be added.

Teen Girls & Adult Women:

Lighting: Natural lighting or outdoor shaded lighting is best. Try to stay away from heavy shadows or too much sunlight on the skin.
Costume: An enchanting dress or skirt or anything colourful!
Position: The pose is very important with this age group. Think about the mood you want to convey and your expression. Make sure hands and feet are not cut out of the photo.

Pets:

Your favorite photo of your pet can be transformed into a fairy too!
Position: Try to have your pet sit on a surface that is clear of objects such as blankets or tall grass.
