FairyMagic in a few simple steps!

1. Get dressed and take a photo in one of the example poses and get photo taking tips.
2. Choose your backdrop and fairy wings
3. Fill out the order form and submit your photo.
4. Fairymagic Photos will analyze your photo and email you back if it's approved.
5. Work begins and proof sent in 1-2 weeks.
6. Make your payment using PayPal. ($4.00 admin fee, $2.00 shipping)
7. Officially a fairy! You'll be added to the Fairy Archives! (Permission required)
8. Order prints from the FairyMagic Store.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

1. TAKING YOUR PHOTOS

Try to envision your fairy portrait and keep that in mind when taking your photographs.

Need to see some examples? Check out the example poses for inspiration. You can't go wrong with these poses!

Take a look at the backdrops and notice the example poses along with each photo. Some poses work best with certain backdrops. It's important to keep this in mind.

Costuming Tips

It is very important to dress the part in your photographs. Wear a nice flowing skirt and a colourful tank top for example. Style your hair in a whimsical way or have dramatic makeup.

2. CHOOSING WINGS & BACKDROP

Visit the Wings page & the Backdrops page to view a fantastic collection of fairy wings and beautiful photography! Once you have decided on your fairy wings and the backdrop you'd like, write down the numbers of each. (You'll need them when you fill out the order form.)

3. SUBMITTING YOUR PHOTOS

• Fill out the order form with contact information and backdrop & wing numbers.
• Upload your photo at the bottom of the form.
• Make sure they are high-resolution JPG files.

*Explicit photos will not be accepted. Subject must be clothed.

4. ANALYZING YOUR PHOTO

FairyMagic Photos will closely analyze your photo. It is important that your photo is a high resolution JPG file to ensure that the quality will be maintained once edited. If the photo does not meet the minimum requirements you will be notified and offered suggestions or advice on taking a higher quality photo. Also FairyMagic Photos will examine that the subject's pose works well with the chosen backdrop and wings.

Once your submitted photo has been approved by FairyMagic Photos you will be emailed the total price of the artwork fee (base fee $40.00, price increases per # of people/animals in photo + $4.00 admin fee, $2.00 shipping)

If you decide not to place an order at this time kindly reply to your "Approved Photo" email to notify FairyMagic Photos. The fairies will be sad to see you go and hope you'll return real soon!

5. FAIRY TRANSFORMATION BEGINS!

Work begins on your FairyMagic photo once your photo has been approved! Expect great attention to detail and magical elements that will make your photo extra special! Fairy dust is always included!

Within 5-10 business days you will be emailed a low resolution, watermarked proof of your final portrait. If you would like to make changes you have 2 proofs included. If additional proofs are needed there will be a charge of $5.00 a proof. When you are happy with your FairyMagic Photo a written approval is required. Simply reply to the proof email with "Approved".

6. MAKE PAYMENT (PAYPAL)

Make your payment so we can mail out your Fairy Magic Photo! You will receive an email with a link to PayPal to complete your transaction.

Artwork Fee: $40.00 ($4.00 admin fee + $2.00 shipping charge)
- Includes cropping, wing and backdrop selection, colour enhancement, cosmetic touchups.

$5.00 extra for each additional person or animal. Maximum 3 people/animals per photo.

Includes FREE 8x10 photo!
*One FREE 8x10 print per order even if more than one subject appears in the photo.

7. OFFICIALLY A FAIRY!

Your FairyMagic Photo is on its way to you! A lot of fairy love has been put into your photo to make it as magical as possible. If it's a gift for a little fairy of your own you'll love their reaction when they see themselves as a fairy!

Your FairyMagic photo finally becomes part of the Fairy Archives!

*Permission is required first to display your photo on the website. You have the right to decline. Your name is never posted online if your photo is used as marketing material or for display purposes.

8. ORDER PRINTS

Additional prints can be ordered at anytime as all files are kept on file and archived yearly.
